For those who do not know how to pray, God gave us a pattern or an example of how we should pray. Like children with his or her parents, they cannot easily go to their dad or mum asking them, hey sir or mum can you buy this, do this for me pls.? But instead they need to give praise and appreciate their love for their parents by doing good deeds, help them in household chores and when they still studying, they need their parents to see that they are doing well on education by showing them, not only their passing grades but to pass all their exams and becoming one of the top ten on their class. Same with our God the Father, we need to thank Him for all the good things He had done for us, thanking Him for the foods He is giving us daily, and we need to ask forgiveness on everything that we had done whether it be white lies, black lies, etc. as we forgive others too, that God will keep us away from temptations and gives us victory in all trials and that He will deliver us from all signs of evil and works of satan, & lastly we need to thank Him, to receive honor, praises, & glory, now & forever, Amen!
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, Who art in heaven
Hollowed be Thy Name
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done
On earth, as it is in heaven
Give us today our daily bread and forgive us our sin
As we forgive our debtor
And lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil, deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory!
