Why we need to Celebrates the Birth
of the Lord Jesus?

1. Because the angels proclaim it to the shepherds on the field.

Luke 2:8-20

⁸ And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch
over their flock by night.

⁹ And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and
they were sore afraid.

¹⁰ And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall
be to all people.

¹¹ For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

¹² And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a
manger.

¹³ And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

¹⁴ Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

2.  Because Jesus was worshiped by three wise men and they give Him gifts.  Matthew :1-12

 ¹¹ And when they were come into the house, they saw the young
child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they
had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and
frankincense and myrrh.

3.  Because Jesus would become the Lamb of will takes away the sin of the world.  John 1:29

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

4.  Because Jesus is the Son of God, He is God too like the Father in heaven.  John 1:1; 14, John 20:28; 1 Timothy 1:1, 2
Peter 1:1; Titus 2:13, 1 John 5:20, Hebrews 1:8

5.  Because Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the ending… said the Lord
Almighty! Revelation 1:8

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the
ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the
Almighty.

6.  Because Jesus is the Son of God Who died and will never die again!  Revelation 1:18

I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I
am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
