During Christmas Season,
many churches around the world participates in celebrating Christmas by using
their various talents on different age groups like the little “angels” group, the
young people’s group, the adult groups, the men's group, the women's group, the
married groups, the single groups and the young at heart groups. We pray that good camaraderie and fellow
shipping with one another as brethren in Christ will surely show how the love
of Christ be manifested to each person.
As God's command through Jesus Christ His Son, we should love the Lord
our God, with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our minds and with all
our strength, and secondly, we should love our neighbour as ourselves as well! (Please
take a note on the Ten Commandments, the First Four Commandments is Loving God,
whilst the Second 5 to 10 Commands is loving our neighbours!)
The 10 Commandments of God
- You shall have no other gods before Me.
- You shall not make idols.
- You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in
vain.
- Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
- Honour your father and your mother.
- You shall not murder.
- You shall not commit adultery.
- You shall not steal.
- You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour.
Mark 12:30-31
30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God
with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all
thy strength: this is the first commandment.
31 And the second is like, namely this,
Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment
greater than these.
