Please take a look at what we do with Jesus.  He was rejected by men, a man full of sorrows, and associated with grief. But despite this treatment of human to Him, He carried our sickness and diseases on the cross, He was wounded because of our sins; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with those lashes He receives, we were healed.
