STAND STRONG A MESSAGE FROM NICK VUJICIC
How to cope
with Bullying? But before we answer
this, let us know who my bro in Christ Nick is?
He was born without arms and legs, he was blessed with at least two toes
just to write and turn the pages of the Bible and to hold hands of his lovely
wife and four children. At age of 8, he
wants to commit suicide, he was teased at school and was bullied, the only one
who can love him most is his parents.
They accepted him of who is, who he was and who will be becoming in the future. They are the one who encourages him, though
he might think he was useless, and there’s nothing he can do with his situation
and condition physically. Until finally,
the only comfort and the only love he can feel beside his parents and loved
ones is, the love of God which he learns reading the Bible. He read in John chapter 9 about a blind man
who was born blind from his birth. Jesus
was asked by his disciples saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his
parents, that he was born blind? Jesus
answered, neither had this man sinned nor his parents: but that THE WORKS OF GOD SHOULD BE MADE
MANIFEST IN HIM.
The words
that my bro in Christ Nick received from the Word of God makes great impact into
his heart and said, Lord Jesus, if you can use that man born blind from his
birth, I believe You can use me too!
This is his turning point. This is why since then his life changed, he
overcomes his negativism and becomes more positive on the life his
pursuing. He becomes a testimony to many
people. He becomes a preacher, teacher,
evangelist and professional motivational speaker. HE BECOMES PRESIDENT OF TWO COMPANIES WITH
DOZEN EMPLOYEES. That’s how God can
change perspective of every man from bad to worse and from better to best. As Paul said in 1 Corinthians 11:1 imitate me
as I imitate Christ, let us, therefore imitate my beloved bro in Christ Nick as
he imitates Christ preaching and evangelising the gospel of Christ worldwide!
After receiving Christ as his personal Lord God and
Saviour, Bro Nick faced bullying with love, he shows he was hurt, but instead
of becoming very angry, he forgave and ask bullies to hug him instead. That’s what the Lord Jesus said, Love your enemies, bless them that curse
you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use
you, and persecute you;
That ye may be the
children of your Father which is in heaven: for He makes his sun to rise on the
evil and on the good, and send rain on the just and on the unjust. Matthew
5:44-45
